hola hippies les dejo un gameplay re copado q hice de este juegazo espero lo vean eh q esta re piola, felicitaciones pa los creadores pasen x mi juego de itch tambien q esta re bueno jj
My second attempt to beat version 2.0! So much fun! I love it how you can discover all the new moves and behavior styles as you replay the game! Can't wait for the next update!
After playing for a few hours I stumbled upon a few issues with this game:
She kept clipping inside of me and seemed to one shot me out of nowhere (I was in a locker one time and she hit me for 100 damage straight away through the locker btw, Idk if this was an intended feature, but it kind of seemed like a bug to me.)
One time I was in a locker and she clipped into the locker, spun around a bit and then managed to clip me out of the side of the locker which was very frustrating for me.
She also seems to teleport behind me sometimes, let's say I'm running away from her and I can see her eyes far off in the distance, and then a second later I just get stabbed out of nowhere.
She also just sometimes turns the light off in a room I'm in and then just stands by the light switch. I can walk up to her and she doesn't attack me or anything, but I also just can't get out of the room without taking damage at that point.
I'd also prefer an easier level of difficulty, because normal seems pretty tough to beat rn with all these bugs killing me over and over again.
Other than those things, it's good. Saiko's voice and bodies sometimes falling out of opened storage parts is a nice touch. This game could be a lot more enjoyable if it felt fair to play.
(Sorry if I whaled on the game a little too hard, I do like the premise of the game, I just want to see it in the best form it can be.)
Clipping or stabbing you through a closed locker is a bug, but taking 100 damage when found in a locker probably isn't a bug as it was like that in previous versions too.
She doesn't teleport. I have done A LOT of experiments in various versions, this one included. She is just super fast (unbelievably so if you don't witness it like I have) when she spots you and you don't look her in the eyes. I should probably record my experiments and upload a video, it's amazing to see just how fast she is at times. That is why, instead of just running, you should look behind you every 3s or so when you are running from her in a straight line (where she can see you) as that will, probably contrary to what seems logical, often prevent her from actually reaching you. You will be surprised how little distance there can sometimes be between you and her when turning around to face her after 10 seconds in the middle of a chase. It can be a bit difficult to find the right balance between running from her and observing her while you walk backwards (no, let's call it moonwalk lol) away from her.
Can you show a video of her standing by the light switch without moving? That might actually be a bug (report it on discord if so), but she will likely move away after 60s as she has been programmed to only camp for that long. If she doesn't attack you, then how come you lose HP? Does she suddenly attack you when you are about to leave?
I don't think the game is unfair; you just need to know the "rules" and learn her behavior. Not gonna lie, it took me a while. There will presumably be an easy or practice mode again in the future, judging from the "Choose difficulty" menu.
I love this game, it's still scary and super fun. I love the complete overhaul the game was given. Keep it up, I cant wait to see what else will be done!!!
[Edit: just realised how lengthy this is, so skip if you don't want to read]
The game seems to be coming along smoothly, given by the new/improved content generated from each update. The new environment gives the impression of a school that is inhabited, unlike the previous one where it seemed more like a ghost town. The AI, as usual, looks great. More content to observe and interact with, etc... In general, a lot of things are superb!
I think the only problem I have, which is nit-picking at best, is that the dialogue does not seem to be optimised/improved on much, if at all.
Someone probably has already mentioned this before, but the Japanese spoken by Saiko seems a bit weird? I have yet to start JLPT N3, and am nowhere near the level of a Japanese native speaker, but the way she speaks seems to be kind of stilted. I didn't write down exactly what I found weird, but a couple things do stick out from my memory, only because I listened to certain parts on loop to catch what Saiko was saying.
I tried listening to her speak in the introduction multiple times, but it's quite difficult to hear the pronunciation of the words. For example, near the start, she said something along the lines of 「…もう夜よ」, but to me, it sounds like「...もうようよ」(i.e. I couldn't hear the ’る’). Additionally, a few sentences never seemed very clear to me, and just sounded like sounds strung together (but that may be a result of my poor listening skills). I watched a couple clips from Japanese youtubers, but they had yet to play the update with the intro in it, so take what you will of my criticism on the Japanese language - perhaps it's easier to comprehend what Saiko is saying if you're a native speaker.
To add onto that, the formality of Saiko's speech sometimes fluctuates. What I'm talking about is the 'politeness level' of spoken Japanese (e.g. keigo, teineigo). In the intro, she predominantly spoke in plain form. Example: 「…何時分からないけど…」. This is understandable - she's still young (and students/children often talk to each other in this manner), and wants to be close with the protagonist (using plain form implicates closeness between the parties, and perhaps she uses it to establish this familiarity regardless of how false it is? Idk, just thinking of reasons for it). But then, she switches to a more polite form of speech at the end of the intro. Example: 「…ここで私を待っています。」. Even so, using polite speech is also understandable for her to use, since she is speaking to her senior (a result of the 先輩ー後輩 relation/dynamic), and to someone she admires(?). This fluctuation is also apparent in the gameplay dialogue (e.g. 「…先輩と遊ぶのが大好きだって…」(?), and 「私怒っています」).
It just seems weird to switch the type of speech back and forth without purpose, especially since it's the norm to stick to the same level when talking to one person (unless the relationship significantly improves/worsens). This is just an idea, but maybe you can have the 'friendly' personality use polite form, whilst the 'sadistic' personality use plain form? Reason being that the former personality is respectful of you, whilst the latter doesn't care about you (it may seem contradictory to what I said before, but you wouldn't really care about being polite if you commit manslaughter right?).
I do have some more things to say, but I'm afraid this is getting too long, so I'll simply mention them. The same 'topic' preceded by 'は' is repeated (sorry I don't really know how to word this better), which should be avoided. Instead of using 'あなた', it's probably better to use '先輩’ (or nothing, if the 'topic' is already mentioned previously). Falling back to idea in the above paragraph, but the crude 'you' pronouns could be used by the sadistic side, whilst more respectful pronouns used by the friendly one. Maybe more variety in the gameplay dialogue is necessary (if you have Saiko follow right behind you around in the friendly persona, she tends to toggle through maybe 5 lines(?), so these lines will be repeated and heard many times over).
This is a summary of the above:
A great update/game - the only gripe is the kind of stilted Japanese dialogue used
Pronunciation of words/sentences at times are incomprehensible
Formality/politeness level of spoken Japanese is inconsistent
An idea to remedy the aforementioned fluctuation: the friendly personality uses polite speech (teineigo/keigo/etc...), whilst the sadistic persona uses plain speech (kudeketa/slang/etc...)
Some extra things regarding Japanese language/grammar that stick out - they perhaps contribute to why the dialogue sounds weird
Perhaps more variety in gameplay dialogue?
I have written this comment to give the following suggestion: have someone proficient in the language (to native-level?) to review the game's Japanese dialogue, both in the sentence structures as well as the pronunciation of such lines.
As a side-note, I think it's better to remedy the Japanese lines before translating the game into different languages. The game is most definitely subject to a lot of change over the course of its development, so translations should probably be done after a majority of the work is done. I apologise if I offended those who want to have the game have translations available in their native language.
Sorry for the atrociously long comment, I'm incapable of writing succinctly.
do features have to be added back in to accommodate the new map? because i even after playing this on both difficulties she has never shoved me when exiting a room, even when carrying keys like she did in the previous map and she doesn't hide behind desks anymore at the entrance to rooms
The game is good but please dear Devs. Don't nerf our guy. Saiko has too much power to the point where the guy is totally helpless. even outlast didn't let the guy feel like this.
Agree. Well, the guy isn't completely helpless as it is possible to win, but...
I have been playing since 1.6 (IIRC), and she is now definitely more powerful than ever before. I almost shudder at the amount of time I might have to spend on getting the good ending in "Yangire" difficulty once that difficulty comes out lol.
Damn this game is quite hard, but also quite fun, I finally got the good ending after a while, I was hiding in the beginning room with the exit key and idk if my hearing is off or something but it sounded like she was outside near the room but when I got the courage to just go for it she was nowhere to be seen.
I'm not even gonna lie, Saiko actually pretty cute when she's not trying to stab you lol, her voice is cute, but at the same time, creepy.
I would like there to be more hiding spots, because at the moment hiding is a bit difficult unless you have a lead on her, and also maybe a better way to track her at least on lower difficulties like with footsteps or something.
To put it simply: This game is great, thanks for reading, and bye bye
Now, When I first looked at this game when Markiplier played it on his 3 Scary Games Video, I was at first confused as to why Saiko (The Yandere) was acting the way she was. Then... when I tried it out for myself.
I was shocked. The AI was toying with the player. I found it amazing how she acted. Usually when a killer is after you, they just keep going or just stop so they can cut you off later. Saiko does more. I didn't think it would be possible but this Yandere terrifies me. Now with a few updates or more later. I came back to try it again... This is what I have learned so far.
She will run off to watch you go into rooms so she can follow you.
She will cut you off if you try to circle around her using the stairs.
Once she has you in her sights? You will be scared to turn away.
She makes me even scared to go into lockers because I don't know if she watched me
Hell, even in her new "Playful State" (when she is not trying to kill you) I mean. she does try to poison you with the healing medicine but still. I feel scared to turn away from her.
Now! the main question of this whole thing!
Do I like this Game? Yes I do, I enjoy it. The key finding can be a bit annoying at times, sure. But! It does cause you to explore the map, see the aftermath of what happened when Saiko lost it. The Endings However (Mainly the good one) Could use some work.
The Good Ending: You grab all keys and leave. Simple and to the point, Sure. However! I do think that habupain could add something else to it.
My Idea for the Good Ending: Maybe make it where you can stop Saiko's other state from coming out? Maybe you can unlock the Infirmary and find meds that help keep her "Other Side" in check. (I think they have meds for that). Then you gotta use something from the Cafeteria (Maybe a drink that Saiko likes) to sneak the medicine into her system. Once you get the medicine into her system, You can either give her the medicine bottle to keep her that way OR Leave the school once she is in that mental state so you can escape without her attempting to grab you again. Each choice has a different impact on the story.
Now as for the Bad ending? Just make it to where she captures you again and she makes sure you are stuck in the school forever. I mean come on. What could be worse than being stuck in a school with a lady who wants to kill or play with you?
Whoever Voices Saiko? You are wonderful at what you do.
Saiko's Voice gives me chills when I hear it from the halls of the dark and bloody school. She gives me the vibes of "I Love You So Much :D" to just downright "IF I CAN'T HAVE YOU, NO ONE CAN!" and I love it! The way she whispers "Found you" as she peers through the Classroom window is the creepiest thing yet. While on the other hand, she is cute (Besides you know.... all the blood on her), when she is in her "Playful State". She sounds truly sorry when she starts switching moods but you still want to keep your distance because you don't know what might happen to you next.
Will you be poisoned?
Will you be stabbed within a second of her being happy?
Will she lock you in a room?
You the player would need to continue as she follows you around. Just don't grab any keys near her. I learned the hard way that she doesn't like that.
You know what scares me the most about this?
Its not done, It even says in the Coming Soon. .
and more ai related behaviour changes
I am honestly scared yet excited for what comes next of this game.
Cool game not gonna lie had to play this when I woke after getting shafted the first playthrough. But really enjoy playing this for the first time. Video
First time playing this and it's so fun and her mechanics is insane didn't know she could hold you down until I saw the shadows... You guys check out my gameplay and tell me if you enjoyed or give it criticism to help me improve my content.
great game, you really cannot beat the price for the content. This game should be at least $5 and it seems like it belongs on steam, but I'm glad the devs gave us a chance to play it for free. 9/10
